Quanergy’s S3 solid state LiDAR won the CES 2017 Best of Innovation Award in the vehicle intelligence category. The Se is the world’s first solid state LiDAR used for computer-assisted perception for autonomous cars.
The Quanergy system won the 2017 CES Best Innovation Award for the vehicle intelligent classification of the S3 solid-state laser radar sensor.
S3, introduced at the International Consumer Electronics Show in 2016, is the world’s first solid-state 3-D lidar sensor for the safety of computer-aided sensing autopilot vehicles.
S3 can detect, analyze and track the objects of the computer can help the driver avoid accidents or take over the driving task in a safe manner. The sensor can conceal any body of the vehicle, ensuring uncompromising design. S3 generates one million data points per second. Able to scan from all directions, the unit creates a real-time 3 d view in the vehicle to detect, sort and track objects in the field.
Quanergy will demonstrate the S3 Solid State Laser Radar at CES 4138 Pavilion North Hall Las Vegas Convention Center. Of course, CES was in Las Vegas January 5-8,
At the International Consumer Electronics Show in 2017, the Robotics Marketplace and the CES Robotics Conference are all driven by robotic trends. Attendees will get a look at the latest robots to get to market, understand the specifics of the experts, and redefine the consumer experience and drive the boundaries of innovation.
The robotics conference will take place on January 6, 2017 from 9 AM to 12:30 PM with three one-hour sessions on consumer robotics. Confirmed speakers include Steve Carlin (Softbank), Steve Cousins (Savioke), Helen Greiner (CyPhy Works), David Hanson (Hanson Robotics) and Ahti Heinla (Starship Technologies).
